Madhusree Dutta included in the Jury Panel for Berlinale Shorts
The 65th edition of Berlin International Film Festival will be conducted from February 5th – 15th 2015 in Berlin. Indian movie world has something to rejoice from this corner as Madhusree Dutta, renowned Indian filmmaker and curator has been selected as a jury for short films in this festival.
Madhusree Dutta currently lives in Mumbai, and she is an alumni of Jadavpur University, Kolkata and National School of Drama. She is also the founder and executive director of Majlis, a centre for rights discourse and multi-disciplinary art initiatives in Mumbai, India.
The fellow jury members in this short film panel include, Wahyuni A. Hadi, noted Singaporean Curator and author, and Istanbul-based artist Halil Altındere. The jury panel is responsible for finalizing reputed awards in the festival which includes, Golden and the Silver Bear for short films, and the Audi Short Film Award.
