Finally, the day is fixed, and Anurag Kashyap’s much awaited movie, ‘Ugly’ will hit the screens on December 26th 2014. The movie was earlier planned to release on last September, but due to unknown reasons, it was postponed.

The film already had its world premiere at Director’s Fortnight of the Cannes Film Festival in 2013. There, the movie received highly positive reviews, and it was praised by both the critics and audiences alike. The world premiere was soon followed by screenings in other noted film festivals which includes, Puchon, Warsaw and Melbourne.

‘Ugly’ is touted to be an emotional thriller with some mind blowing sequences stuffed throughout the running time. The movie showcases some emotional sequences which gets triggered after 10 year old ‘Kali’ goes missing from the car she was left in by her father.

The movie features, Rahul Bhatt, Ronit Roy, Siddhanth Kapoor, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Girish Kulkarni and Vipin Sharma in the lead role.
