‘Naa Bangaru Thalli’ heads to Beijing International Film Festival
‘Naa Bangaru Thalli’ has been ruling the International Film Festival circuits from the date of its release, and this film directed by Rajesh Touchriver has taken Indian Film Industry to new heights of glory. The recent news about the movie is regarding its selection to participate in the Panorama of the Fourth Beijing International Film Festival.
This year will witness the fourth edition of this festival, and it is scheduled from April 16-23, 2014. Seven major events are the highlights of this year’s festival, and it includes, the selection of the Tiantan Awards, opening ceremony, Beijing Film Panorama, Film Magic-Beijing Forum, Beijing Film Market, The Best In Wo-Film Carnival, and closing ceremony and awards ceremony. The opening ceremony of the festival will be held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts, and the event will witness the union of many renowned names in the Global cinema under one roof. Screening of more than 260 movies from various countries will take place in 30 venues as a part of this festival.
The selection of Naa Bangaru Thalli in this year’s festival has spread a new wave of happiness in Indian Film Fraternity. The movie which is directed by Rajesh Touchriver and it portrays a socially relevant issue which is Sex Trafficking. The intimacy between a father and daughter is also portrayed in a beautiful manner by the director, and he has succeeded in making it a real gem of a film. The movie stars Siddique, Anjali Patel and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles, and the film is produced by renowned female activist Sunitha Krishnan.
