‘Naa Bangaru Thalli’ made its way to Myrtle Beach International Film Festival
‘Naa Bangaru Thalli’, the Indian film directed by Rajesh Touchriver was one of the most critically acclaimed movies of 2013, and the film has won major recognitions in various International Film Festivals. The dream run of the film is still continuing in International Circuit, and the recent news about Naa Bangaru Thalli is regarding its official selection in Myrtle Beach International Film Festival.
The Myrtle Beach International Film Festival is scheduled from April 23rd – April 26th 2014 at Carmike Cinema 17 Broadway at the Beach, Myrtle Beach SC. The festival aims to promote filmmakers, and the screening committee selects the final list of films by analyzing its technical and artistic value, on its uniqueness, its style, and how far the project was taken with the resources which were available.
‘Naa Bangaru Thalli’ is undoubtedly a gem of a film. The film portrays a socially relevant issue which is Sex Trafficking. The movie tests the vulnerability of trust in human relations, and the central theme is based on a true story. It also shows the intimacy of a father and daughter in the loveliest manner. The story has a global dimension, as it can happen to anyone, anywhere and at any time.
The film is produced by renowned female activist Sunitha Krishnan, and she is none other than the better half of the director. The music is composed by Sharath, and the slick cuts is done by Don Max. The movie stars Siddique, Anjali Patel and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles.
