Submissions Open for Brooklyn Film Festival 2014
The 17th edition of Brooklyn Film Festival is scheduled on May 30th – June 8th 2014, and this year, the festival is much bigger and mightier than never before. The 2013 festival was a great success, and the organizers expect the same to happen this year as well. Submissions are open for this year’s film festival, and they accept these entries in six categories; Narrative Features, Documentary Features, Short Narrative, Short Documentary, Experimental, and Animation.
This year, the organizers are planning to award a total of $ 50,000 as prize amount. A submission of more than 2000 films is expected, and if everything goes well, more than 100 films will make it to the final lineup.
The submissions for 2014 festival are already open from September 2nd 2013. The deadlines for submissions are as follows.
Earlybird deadline: Postmarked by November 29, 2013
Regular deadline: Postmarked by February 21, 2014
Late deadline: Postmarked by March 7, 2014
WAB Extended deadline: Postmarked by March 14, 2014
