‘DAM 999‘, directed by Sohan Roy has been receiving umpteen numbers of recognition’s from the day it debuted in International Film Festival circuit. The recent news about the movie is regarding its official selection in the upcoming Iphias Film Festival.

The festival is scheduled from November 12 – 15, 2015 at Jamaica. The inaugural performance of the festival will be conducted with grandeour, and it will be blessed with the performance of Jamaican Jazz Master Benjy Myaz.

‘DAM 999‘ is one of those rare films in the International Film History which connects human emotions with a natural disaster. The movie showcases a heart touching story in the backdrop of a dam. The film recieved highly positive reviews from the theaters upon its release, and the same thing happened when it was debuted in the film festival circuit.

The Screenplay of the movie was added to the permanent core collection in Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences before its release in 2011.
