The 2nd edition of Cellar Door Film Festival is tentatively scheduled on November 6th – 8th 2015. This film festival is one of the growing entertainment event in Ottawa, and it aims to screen impeccable movies from all corners in Canada’s capital city. The most recent news from this corner is regarding the call for entries to this year’s festival.

Filmmakers from all corners of the world can submit their movies to the Cellar Door Film Festival from now. Both short films and features are accepted in the festival. There is absolutely no genre discrimination followed during the selection process. It means you can submit films of all genre which includes, horror,thriller, science, fiction, fantasy, avant-garde, experimental, the supernatural, alternative history, mystery and even grind house cinema.

June 30, 2015 is the early bird deadline for submission. The last date for submission is July 31st 2015. Films which are submitted before the early bird deadline will get discounts on the submission rate.

While submitting the films, makers should make sure that the movies have not been previously screened in Ottawa prior to the festival date.
