‘Don Verdean’ the comedy film directed by Jared Hess is awaiting its North American premier. The film stars Sam Rockwell, Amy Ryan, Jemaine Clement, Danny McBride and Will Forte in the lead roles. The recent news from this corner is regarding the bagging of the film’s North American rights by ‘Lionsgate’.

‘Don Verdean’ showcases the life of a Biblical archeologist who is hired by a local pastor to find faith- promoting relics in the Holy Land. But soon, the archeologist understands that his efforts are going in vain, and at this time, he starts thinking in a more creative manner.

This film is written by the director along with his wife Jerusha Hess. Jared Hess’ previous works includes, ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ and ‘Nacho Libre’.
