The 44th edition of International Film Festival of Rotterdam will be conducted from January 21st – February 1st 2015. The recent news from this corner is regarding the finalization of the Signals program.

The final programs in the ‘Signals lineup’ section includes, a tribute to Korean director Jang Chin along with a focus on artist and filmmaker Bruce McClure. Another major addition in this category is ‘Made in Taiwan‘, a special program in the annual regained section.

Jang Chin is widely considered as one of the unquestionable names in the South Korean Entertainment industry. He is a famous modern playwright. He is known for directing gangster films, and romantic comedy flicks.

The International Film Festival of Rotterdam will host a 13 retrospective of his films, and it includes the European premier of ‘We are Brothers’.

‘Made in Taiwan’ is an addition to this year’s festival. It includes the documentary Flowers of Taipei, and this is meant to mark the 30th anniverssary of the birth of Taiwan New Cinema.
